Jamie's BB Gun

James got Jamie his first BB Gun a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, the boy loves it. He's learning all about gun safety from daddy and is a much better shot than I am! :)

Okay, so I promised a video of Jamie reading--but it was too long. I shall video him tonight and see if I can get it on this blog.

Nothing much going on--Jamie is on the Red Sox this Spring for baseball. We start practices next week. The pre-season starts the first or second weekend in March (I think) then it's time for the regular season. Jamie's pretty excited. We got him a new baseball bag as well.

We had a good time this weekend-Sarah got to come up as a nice treat and fun was had by all. Especially Jamie! Superbowl was fun-good game, so-so commercials.

Christmas 2008

Here are some photos from Christmas. We went
up to mom & dad's and got to visit with the whole
family. Jamie had a blast-he got to play in tons
of snow, go sledding (with an injury of course!)
and have an epic snowball fight-the highlight of
his trip.

We finally got some family photos taken-of course
none with everyone looking at the camera, but oh
well:) Soon I shall get some larger prints and have
them on the wall. Also got one of the three of us.

James, Me, Mike & Rachel, and Sarah & Rob
got to go out one night. It was fun--we played
some pool and just hung out. Of course, it started
snowing...and there was some police activity at the
Texaco, but then again, it is Belfair!

Anyhow, I shall post some videos tomorrow or
later tonight as well as another bit of writing about
what is going on around here (not much though).

hello again...

Well, I almost made it a year without posting! I never make New Year's resolutions, but I think due to some helpful reminders from a pal (thanks BL) I shall try and post at least once every two weeks. Either pictures or words...

So, Jamie is 5-as of November 22- now and in Kindergarten. He's loving school and has completely taken to homework and going to school. He really likes math and reading. He's also working on his penmanship-his letters and numbers have come really far. Currently he's reading books like Hop on Pop, Fox in Socks, and random stuff (road signs, commercials, etc.). As far as math is concerned, he can count at least to 400. He wanted to go to 1000 one day, but the car ride only allowed for 400. He also recognizes three & four digit numbers. He's mastered adding 1-20 (all of the numbers to each other) and we've started on subtraction at home.



James is doing good at work--just keeping busy. I'm fine-also keeping busy. We went up to mom & dad's for Christmas. It was a lot of fun--and WAY snowy! It was pretty crazy. If I can figure this out again, I'm going to post some photos of the snow and Christmas.



Tomorrow we're heading off to sign Jamie up for Spring baseball--can't believe it's here already! He's excited, to say the least. Well that's it for now. Enjoy the update-hopefully I can remember to continue:)
